The Reader’s Card as a First Step Toward the Big Wide World
The library is not just a place to store books – it is the living heart of our school. A place where stories come alive, and children discover their first great sources of inspiration.
We're happy to share that our team's efforts to encourage early literacy were featured in a wonderful piece by the. In an interview, one of our teachers talks about the excitement of receiving a first reader's card, and about how, together with parents, we are building a community of thoughtful, reading children.
"Being a bridge or a pathway to the library is both a cause and a calling," our team shares. In our library, children don't just read – they meet authors such as Victoria Beshliyska, Nikola Raykov, and Katya Antonova, learn emotional intelligence, and develop skills that will support them throughout their lives.
