Privacy Policy of Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd.
Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd. invests all necessary resources and applies strict measures to protect the security and integrity of all personal data collected from our clients. We follow the principles of lawful, fair and transparent processing of personal data. For this reason, the data provided to us is collected and processed only for specific, explicitly stated and legitimate purposes, and is not further processed in a way that is incompatible with those purposes.
We have implemented systems and processes to ensure that the data we collect and store is minimised, relevant and limited only to what is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was collected. We strive to keep your personal data accurate and up to date, and we rely on you to inform us if you discover any inaccuracy so that we can correct it in a timely manner. We have also implemented systems to ensure that your data is not stored for a period longer than necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.
You may withdraw your consent for us to process your data at any time, without having to give reasons, and you may request deletion of the data unless another lawful basis requires us to retain it. Since secure processing is a priority for us, we have implemented security mechanisms and restricted access in order to provide an appropriate level of protection for personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.

Personal data and processing of personal data.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified natural person or a natural person who can be identified. Personal data includes your name, personal identification number or foreigner identification number, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address and similar information.
Processing means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, by automated or other means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making data available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Personal data collected and processed by Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd. Purposes of processing.
Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd. collects your first and last name, personal identification number, address, telephone number, e-mail address and date of birth.
Information about the date of birth is necessary in order to comply with the requirement that consent for processing data of a child must be given by the child’s legal representatives, parents, guardians or other authorised persons.
We collect your data voluntarily when you complete the registration form in connection with your stated wish to conclude an English language training contract. After the registration form is completed and received by us, a training contract will be sent to you. After conclusion of the contract, your data will be processed in your capacity as a party to that contract and in connection with the performance of our obligations under it.
The provision of these data allows us to identify the person as a party to the contract and as the holder of the rights and obligations under it. Full name, personal identification number and address are part of the minimum content of each contract. If a person refuses to provide them, Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd. will not be able to conclude a contract. During the conclusion of contracts, identity document data may also be processed in order to verify validity and prevent possible fraud or misuse of personal data.
In order to perform the contracts concluded with us, it is necessary to process the personal data of the persons with whom we have contracted. Otherwise, it would be impossible to fulfil our contractual commitments. We process personal data when this is necessary to exercise our rights under concluded contracts and when necessary for the settlement of legal disputes. We process personal data when we are legally obliged to provide information to competent authorities. We also process personal data in order to comply with obligations arising from accounting and tax legislation.
Other information collected by us may include data necessary for the organisation of courses, communication, certification, issuing documents, administration of payments and reporting, as well as for the protection of legal rights and legitimate interests.
Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd. does not share, sell, rent, trade or transfer personal information collected from its clients.
The information may be shared between companies of which Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd. is part, so that they can perform special functions on your behalf, such as technical improvements, service support or issuing certificates.
Where data is transferred, Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd. obliges third parties, clients, employees and partners to maintain confidentiality and to use your personal data only for the agreed purposes. Third parties and partners are allowed to receive only the personal information they need to perform their functions on our behalf. Period of processing of personal data by Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd.
We will keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes listed above and to prove their fulfilment, but not longer than five years, or in accordance with your instructions and wish to withdraw your consent and have the data deleted, unless another lawful basis requires further retention.

Right to information
You have the right at any time to request information on whether your personal data is stored, the purposes for which it is processed, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients to whom it has been disclosed, the intended storage period and whether automated decision-making or profiling exists.
Right to withdraw consent
If you have given consent for the use of your data, you may withdraw it at any time with future effect, without having to state reasons.
Right to rectification
If you discover that the data we store about you is inaccurate, you may contact us so that we can correct it.
Right to erasure
You have the right to request that we delete your data without undue delay. We will delete it within a reasonable period as soon as we make sure that there are no other grounds requiring its processing or storage. After deletion, it will no longer be possible to provide information based on that data.
Right to restriction of processing
In certain cases, for example where you contest the accuracy of the data or where the grounds for its storage are being checked, you have the right to request restriction of processing. During the restriction period, we may only store the personal data, and other processing activities are possible only with your consent.
Right to data portability
Upon your request, we will provide or transfer the data to you or another controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Direct transfer is carried out only where technically feasible.
Right to object
You may object at any time and without giving reasons to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling, and in cases where your data is processed on the basis of a task carried out in the public interest or for our legitimate interests.
Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling. At present, Private Secondary Language School BRITANICA Ltd. does not carry out automated data processing, including profiling. In addition to the rights above, you also have the right to request human intervention by the controller, the right to express your point of view and the right to contest a decision.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint against the processing of your personal data with the competent supervisory authority, in Bulgaria the Commission for Personal Data Protection or the court, if you believe that your data protection rights have been violated.
